Vic: Subaru drivers targeted by police impersonators.
Melbourne police are urging owners of Subaru WRX sports cars to be on the lookout for
three men who've used fake police badges in carjacking attempts.
In three incidents today, one WRX sports car was stolen and one man punched in the
face by the robbers.
Police say the men are considered dangerous, as another victim was also shown a gun,
believed to be a semi-automatic pistol.
Detectives say WRX drivers should carefully check the identification of any police
officers who stop them.
The men approach WRX drivers from a silver Toyota Celica.
