Tas: Multiculturalism will bring peace peace: governor
Tasmanian Governor WILLIAM COX says Australians need to embrace multiculturalism ..
to ensure peace for the future.
He's told thousands of people at Hobart's Anzac Day service peace can be achieved only
through respecting the cultural differences in modern society.
The governor warned it's counterproductive to impose our own truths on other cultures.
Tasmanians have gathered in their thousands to honour war veterans and their descendents
at services and marches throughout the state.
